USJ 21st Salon: deep learning and its application

Date/Time
1/15/2017
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Please register for USJ 21st Salon, topic on Deep Learning.

Deep Learning is a branch of machine learning based on a set of algorithms that attempt to model high-level abstractions in data. It is based on the (unsupervised) learning of multiple levels of features or representations of the data. Higher level features are derived from lower level features to form a hierarchical representation.

Deep Learning’s applications on Alphago and Auto drive make it very popular recently. Professor Andy Tian from University of San Jose will use graphics to present his recent study on Deep Learning.

Andy Tian is a professor of University of San Jose. With years of experiences of product demand forecasting and inventory management using big data infrastructure and deep learning technology in Walmart Labs and Boxed.com, Andy Tian makes himself an expert on Deep Learning Technology.
