Introduction to University of San Jose
University of San Jose (School Code 90920164), a non-profit private university, was founded in November 2015. USJ received provisional approval from BPPE . The main campus is located in San Jose. USJ offers Two Master’s programs: MSCS (Master of Science in computer science) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) for various students. USJ also intends to offer professional training and other educational services for our students.
USJ faculty members come from many creative enterprises and universities in Silicon Valley. Our goal is trying to form our own strength in technology and human resource, to return to the community. USJ also actively supports students to start their own businesses and innovations, we collaborate with Silicon Valley’s innovative organizations to establish a business incubating zone, helping students develop comprehensively in education, professionalism, and entrepreneurship.

The University of San Jose is founded by the Gosvea Group. Gosvea Group headquarter is in Silicon Valley, and focuses on higher education investment and management, Artificial Intelligent technology training, and enterprise services, adopts the dual-mode and the open idea of school management, make the mutual promotion of education, and create a new form of the education in the future.

Graduation Requirement
Students must complete an appropriate number and distribution of credits to earn a degree.
Unit of credit per clock hour: USJ utilizes the trimester system. Each class is assigned a specific number of credits according to the lecture spent. 1 credit is 60 minutes in length for each week of a 15-week trimester. For example, a 3 credits course should meet for a period of 180 minutes each week. In addition, students are expected to have 6 hours of study workload outside the lecture per week. Students earn 3 credits after successfully completing the course work for 15 weeks.
Minimum of 36 total credits must be completed for graduation. Both core and electives courses requirement must be satisfied for the degree program.
