San Jose, CA – January 21, 2026 — ALLCPR hosted an exploratory discussion titled “AI + CPR: Smart Manikin” with representatives from the American Red Cross (ARC) and invited technology partners to exchange perspectives on emerging training tools and instructional methodologies related to Smart Manikin systems.
The meeting included ARC Sales Director Spencer Stelljes, Premier Provider Executive Michael Pitkin, representatives from Elevate SMART Manikin, and members of the ALLCPR leadership team, including Founder Dr. Claude Wang and Executive Director Mr. Kenny Miao.
The discussion focused on general trends in training technology and how data-assisted manikin systems may support instructor consistency, learner feedback, and instructional alignment within existing CPR training frameworks. All parties emphasized the importance of maintaining current ARC instructional standards, instructor oversight, and applicable compliance requirements.

Dr. Wang noted that ALLCPR views emerging training technologies as supplementary instructional tools, rather than replacements for certified curricula or professional instructor judgment. “Our interest is in understanding how new tools may assist instructors and learners while fully respecting established ARC standards and instructional authority,” said Dr. Wang.
ARC representatives shared perspectives on scalability, quality assurance, and the importance of careful evaluation when considering any new instructional tools. The Elevate SMART Manikin team provided a high-level overview of how objective performance data and feedback mechanisms may be incorporated into training environments, subject to applicable program guidelines and approvals.
The meeting concluded with mutual agreement that ongoing dialogue and evaluation are essential when exploring new instructional technologies. No product endorsement, certification change, or deployment decision was made as part of this discussion.
