Job Opening:               Network and Computer Systems Engineer

Job Duties:     

•        Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated software systems and networked computing environments that support Gosvea’s national CPR training operations.

•        Optimizing enterprise-level infrastructure and application architecture, ensuring system availability, security, and performance across more than 150 distributed training sites.

•        Developing and maintaining web and mobile applications, managing backend services and relational/non-relational databases, and integrating third-party systems such as training portals (ARC/AHA), payment gateways, and learning management platforms.

•        Create and manage secure apis and ensure seamless data synchronization across platforms.

•        Deploying and administering cloud-based server infrastructure (e.g., AWS EC2), maintaining system configurations, and performing regular backups and disaster recovery operations.

•        Implement automation pipelines (CI/CD), containerize environments using Docker and Kubernetes, and manage internal systems through robust devops practices.

•        Building internal tools to monitor training effectiveness, student engagement, and system health; leveraging Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

•        Conduct advanced cybersecurity audits, implement access controls, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and PCI-DSS requirements.

Job Requirements: Job entails working with and requires bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or related fields with Candidate must have 2-year professional experience in:

1.         Cloud-based system architecture and deployment (AWS)

2.         Full-stack web and mobile application development (Node.js, React)

3.         RESTful API and database integration (MySQL)

4.         DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline implementation (Docker, Kubernetes)

5.         Data analysis and visualization (Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau)

6.         AI-enhanced platform features (auto-grading, adaptive learning)

7.         Cybersecurity and compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS standards)

Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 2 years of experience in the position Network and Computer Systems Engineer position or related.
