This workshop equips participants to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and babies. The class is led by certified instructors who will teach and demonstrate the CPR, first aid, and AED skills necessary to respond to emergencies. This class will give you the emergency skills required for various types of employment and for general safety. The program will include an informational lecture and practical demonstrations, allowing participants to learn and practice hands-on skills for emergency response.

Kenny Miao (ICCPRA ICPIE, American Red Cross CPR Instructor) and Joanna Wang (ICCPRA ICPIM, American Red Cross CPR Instructor) of Gosvea will be presenting this workshop. They are a part of the International Community CPR Alliance (ICCPRA) an international organization specializing in community philanthropy assistance. ICCPRA is an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider. Everyone who attends this workshop can receive a certificate from ICCPRA. 

This is a hybrid event and will take place in person at Joyce Ellington Library and online over zoom simultaneously. To attend the program in person please come to the community room at Joyce Ellington. To attend the program over zoom, Please register and a link and password will be sent to you in advance of the event. To protect participants’ privacy, this meeting will not be recorded and participants will have the option to rename themselves for the meeting.
